After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Warsaw University and the School of Management at the Polish Academy of Science, she continued her studies at the Law Faculty of London University.

Joanna has multiyear experience in tax and legal advice. For over ten years she worked at Ernst & Young Sp. z o.o, a tax advisory firm. In her professional life, Joanna provided tax advice to many major Polish and foreign firms operating in the Polish market. In her work, Joanna provided services to companies from pharmaceutical, construction, oil and FMCG industries, as well as to publishing and IT firms. She was a consultant to the Seym Health Commission upon drawing up a new pharmaceutical law.

In 1997, she was entered in the list of licensed tax advisers under No. 02791.

Her tasks include finding answers to strategic tax problems, providing effective tax solutions and day-to-day tax advice.
